OUR VISION
At Cedar Nursery, we believe in providing a nurturing and caring environment for children and families.
We strive to work in partnership with families, community, and other agencies to ensure that all our children receive high quality care and education in a safe, attractive learning environment.
We encourage our children to be curious and inquisitive about life and the environment, supporting them to become successful in their learning and confident in themselves – children are our focus and are at the centre of our planning.
OUR AIMS
Care - To ensure we provide high quality care and education with literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing at its core.
Environment – To ensure that our environment is stimulating, safe and offers the children a variety of quality experiences.
Decisions – We will ensure that we will involve our children and parents and team in making decisions and improvements in line with our Self Evaluation processes.
Achieving – To ensure that all our learners have equal opportunities and access to experiences which challenge, support and build on their skills and learning.
Responsive – To be responsive to the needs of each child, using a range of assessment procedures to identify and plan for individual next steps in learning.
Promoting Childhood Learning Development
Our staff work hard to provide a diverse range of fun and safe activities to encourage every child. Not only do we encourage group active play, but we also help our children learn how to build their communication skills too.
