At Cedar Nursery, we work in partnership with East Dunbartonshire Council to deliver 1140 hours of funded childcare for children
aged 3-5 years and for eligible 2s.

We offer 3 different models of delivery for 1140 hours provision.
Term Time Options
5 Days 9am – 3pm
3 Days 8am – 6pm
Non-Term Time Options
3 Days 9am – 4.40pm
Extra hours can be purchased to cover wrap around care.

NURSERY LUNCHES
Hot lunches are provided by a catering company, menus are sent out every 2 weeks so that parents can choose with their children. There is always the choice of a hot meal, soup, and a sandwich plus a tasty dessert. For funded children this cost is covered by the Local Authority as part of the funding. For our younger children in the 2-year-old room or for children using more than the funded only sessions, there is a small charge for the 2-course lunch. Children can also choose to bring a packed lunch if this preferable.
The catering company caters the lunches in line with “Setting The Table” and “Food Matters guidance and National Nutritional guidelines for Early Years and Schools. Specialist dietary requirements can also be catered for, from intolerances, allergies or cultural preferences.
